The Ned NoMad
The hotel’s art collection highlights predominantly female artists and is inspired by the building’s original owner, the entrepreneur Caroline A. Johnston.
Embracing a glamorous 1920s design and featuring original intricate mosaic floors and elaborate crown molding, the hotel’s rooms have a luxurious club feel, with mahogany desks and leather headboards. Black and white bathrooms feature walk-in rain showers and select accommodations have clawfoot tubs.
The ground floor is home to Cecconi’s, a modern take on a traditional Italian restaurant serving pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and seafood. Little Ned’s is a 1920s-style bar with booth seating and views of the Empire State Building.
Get your adrenaline flowing with a workout in the gym, which is open 24 hours a day. Unwind in The Library, a coworking space during the day, and lounge in the evening.
Take a short stroll to the Union Square Greenmarket or the Rubin Museum, which specializes in Asian art. Head north to explore the Morgan Library and Museum or catch a performance at Madison Square Garden.
